REFLECTIONS IN DESIGN Magazine
Rosemary Porto, Editor-In-Chief

“As the Editor-in-Chief of Reflections in Design, I have the opportunity to combine my two lifelong passions: design and writing. It's an honor to share exceptional designs with fellow industry professionals, shape narratives, and tell the intimate anecdotes of designers and their projects. I appreciate the intellectual challenge of storytelling, the satisfaction that comes from enhanced communication, and the opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives.”

Rosemary Porto has studied fiction writing at Vermont College of Fine Arts’s Novel Retreat for nine years and has taken writing courses at Grub Street, The Loft, and Story Street. Connie May Fowler, and Tommy Dean mentor her one-on-one. She is working on a novel-in-progress, Other People’s Secrets and Flash Fiction.

Her first story was published in Dark Winter Literary Magazine in October, 2024.

When Rosemary isn’t writing or publishing her newsletter, The Next Chapter, she is reading, doing Pilates, or cooking for her finicky-eater husband.
